Our Work

Sustainability

Statewide Impact

A primary goal of CEP is to systematize “Lessons Learned and Best Practices” from the eight partner counties during the duration of the project, and disseminate them throughout Prop.10 (including both at the State and county levels), and to other interested audiences. This goal is integrally linked to CEP’s sustainability efforts within partner counties, and at the state level.

CEP has targeted three priority groups and concentrated on the practical application of “Lessons Learned and Best Practices”. The three priority audiences are:

  1. State-Wide & Public Policymakers — This target group includes the State Prop. 10 Commission, the Prop. 10 Equity and Diversity Committee, and potentially other key state Associations.
  2. County Prop. 10 Commissions and their Constituents — This target group includes County Prop. 10 Commissions and their Staff, and their constituents at the local county level, and among the many extended networks previously established though work to date. It will also involve reaching out to other Prop. 10 Commissions that have interest in the CEP work. Additional constituencies will be reached through the CEP Website, and through participation in CEP hosted events, trainings, and presentations.
  3. Civic Engagement Community within Foundations, Community & Social Service Agencies — and potentially within the Academic arena.

In order to best promote and share CEP’s work with a broader audience — different formats of presentation and dissemination will be utilized depending on the targeted audience.
