- An announcement of free ECERS-R trainings with Thelma Harms beginning in July
- Final agenda for July 13 Association meeting and minutes from the last meeting
- Call for papers from the First National Conference on Building Systems that Care About Birth to Fives
- Information about SB 220 (Yee), smoking cessation bill
- The attached announcement of ECERS-R trainings was sent to a variety of organizations but may not have reached all First 5 commissions. The training is sponsored by First 5 California. Please see the announcement and share it with your local partners as you see fit.
- The final agenda for the July 13 Association meeting is attached. Please note if you want to attend the Early Bird, an RSVP is required. RSVP to Elise@f5ac.org. Minutes of the last meeting are also attached.
- September 15 is the submission deadline for papers to be presented at the “First National Conference on Building Systems that Care About Birth to Fives.” The conference will be held in Long Beach and may be of great interest to First 5 commissions and your partners.
- SB 220 (Yee) requires health plans to cover out-patient prescription drugs for tobacco cessation. Advocates for the bill asked us to share information about it with First 5 commissions. A fact sheet and the most recent version of the bill are attached.
